Breastfeeding Support

When you make an appointment with us, we will take a full history, assess both mother and baby, observe a breastfeed and discuss any areas of concern. Breastfeeding support is provided during each session. 

Together, we will develop a plan to address your concerns and help you meet your breastfeeding goals.

Our appointment includes: 

Assessment of Baby

• oral function assessment
• behaviour at the breast
• attachment
• transfer of milk

Assessment of Mother 

• medical history
• pregnancy history
• birth history 
• milk supply

Support in the following

• bottle feeding
• infant cry-fuss problems
• sleep
